This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is managed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL processes, data governance, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Design: Create and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support business intelligence (BI) and analytics applications. Performance Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval systems for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient query execution. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms. Data Governance: Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards. ETL Workflow Development: Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica and other relevant tools. Integration Solutions: Design and implement data integration solutions for third-party applications and services. Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems and SQL queries. Mentorship: Mentor and train junior data engineers and team members on best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering. CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage DevOps & DataOps CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Documentation: Prepare technical design documents and Service Level Agreement (SLA) agreements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL processes and data warehousing. Proven expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Unix, SQL, and Python. Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
