Title: Senior SW Engineer Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Duration: 1 Year Remote ok (Y/N): Travel accounts for 50% of work time. The team needs to travel to various casinos for the implementation of software. They stay at the customer location and do the software implementation, go-live, application support, and UAT. Sometimes a single trip can last two weeks. The entire travel expense will be paid by the customer. Mandatory Skills: iSeries - RPG , TBD Web Services/SOA/Rest, RPGLE,CLLE,ILE RPGLE,SQLRPGLE, SOAP UI, RPG/CL Programming, Web Services, Job Description: Training and/or Experience: 5+ or more years of professional experience in a software Implementation team 3+ Experience in iSeries programming languages (RPG IV, RPG Free-form, CL and DDS and knowledgeable of ILE features including Service Programs, Sub Procedures and Module Binding) Experience with SQL techniques such as Embedded SQL, Stored Procedures Interactive SQL and QM Query Minimum of four years experience with software methodologies Experience with gaming and casino and slot systems modules highly preferred Experience with source/object control tools Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of connectivity to other platforms (web services, REST, SOAP) Knowledge of turnover Ability to work well with others in a team environment Strong working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Strong working knowledge of operating systems Strong multi-tasking skills Enjoy working in a creative environment Excellent communication skills Must be able to obtain and hold a Nevada Gaming Card [For Las Vegas and Reno based candidates] Keywords: user interface information technology golang |
