Role Business Analyst - 748056 Location Richmond, VA Duration Long Term Mode of Interview Web-Ex and In-person No New Submittals after 10/12/2024 Job Description: *Local Richmond, VA candidates required in order to work onsite at least 1-2 days each month based on needs for meetings and team dynamics *candidate will need to be onsite frequently in the first month or so, to be determined by mgr., as they ramp up on project *parking not provided This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams to document business requirements & business flow diagrams. This is a hybrid position and will be expected to work both remotely & in office. This position is responsible for enterprise-wide business analysis of web applications for the Office of Information Management (OIM) and its customers. This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams to document business requirements. The Business Analyst will report to the Project Manager to ensure business requirements, enhancements, modifications, and newly identified business initiatives are thoroughly documented for successful implementation of Information Technology solutions. Specific Tasks such as: -Follow requirement elicitation strategies to gather requirements from business stakeholders for new initiatives and/ or for system enhancements and modifications - Document current state, future state process, GAP analysis, requirements documentations, user stories with acceptance criteria - Represent requirements in process flow and other suitable pictorial diagrams -Ensure user journey is clearly understood, replicated with newer processes and suggest enhancements when applicable -Present requirements to technical and business teams for discussions, validations, demos and training. -Working with technical team and vendor to ensure requirements are incorporated into systems design and testing -Actively participating in functional and systems integration unit testing; creating test plans, scenarios, and testing results -Assisting customers with user acceptance testing -Developing and presenting training to customers, documenting user manual when needed -Providing implementation and maintenance support -Proactively making suggestions for systems and process improvement and performing competitive, problem, and opportunity analysis, emphasizing integration, experimentation, creative brainstorming, early complexity assessment, and capturing results in the form of a business case to propose a new change initiative -Keep Project Manager informed of key issues that may impact project implementation -Facilitate project conference calls, status meetings, planning sessions, and provide for meeting notes -Support the Project manager in review of Project initiation steps such as RFPs, SOW, managing Agile tools, working closely with vendor team when applicable -Utilizing system-based project management applications, collaboration applications, and MS Office applications; Visio, SharePoint, Teams, etc Skills Required Years Used Last Used Knowledge of relational databases (SQL), system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies 7 Years Demonstrates skill in project planning, requirements gathering, business analysis, business process mapping, procedural writing, process engineering 7 Years Able to manage, coordinate, and prioritize multiple activities concurrently with limited supervision & to adjust efficiently changing priorities 7 Years Knowledge of quality assurance techniques, and change management procedures 7 Years Demonstrates problem-solving, active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, group visitation, written and oral communication 7 Years Demonstrates organization and time management, and presentation skills 7 Years Knowledge of business process engineering methods 7 Years Knowledge and experience using multiple project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile 7 Years Ability to blend methodologies together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment 7 Years Must be able to operate effectively in a changing environment with multiple priorities 7 Years Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow-through 7 Years Excellent verbal and written communications skills 7 Years Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands 7 Years Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent experience 7 Years Experience with Healthcare Information Systems 5 Years Experience performing systems analysis, and/or coordinating application development projects 5 Years Experience or knowledge with the Commonwealth of Virginia Information Security Standard, SEC 501 2 Years Experience with .Net Applications 2 Years Thanks, Ramesh, [email protected] Keywords: microsoft Virginia Need Business Analyst at Richmond, VA (Locals Only) for Long Term Project.
