In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend systems that support our applications and services. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create scalable and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize and maintain database performance using PostgreSQL. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices. Implement security and data protection measures. Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Python and Django. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with database design and optimization. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
