Experience: 6-10+ Years of relevant IT Experience Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with problem management tools and methodologies. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills This role is to work in the problem management team of a fortune 500 company. Role Overview The Problem Management Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical problems that impact the organization's operations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand root causes, implement solutions, and prevent future occurrences. Key Responsibilities Problem Identification: Analyze incident reports and Event logs to identify recurring problems. Collaborate with support teams to gather information and understand the impact of problems. Problem Analysis: Work with support teams to conduct in-depth investigations to determine the root cause of problems. Analyze data from various sources to identify patterns and trends. Work with subject matter experts to understand technical complexities and potential solutions. Problem Resolution: Develop and implement effective solutions to address problems. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Document problem resolution processes and best practices. Problem Prevention: Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to avoid future problems. Develop and maintain knowledge base articles to document problem resolution procedures.
