This role involves working closely with teams to ensure data systems are secure, compliant, and meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: Design Data Solutions: Create and maintain data architecture to support business needs, focusing on risk management. Manage Risks: Ensure data systems follow risk management guidelines and identify any potential risks. Data Modeling: Build and maintain logical and physical data models for efficient data storage and access. Work in Agile Teams: Collaborate with teams using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver data solutions in quick iterations. Data Governance: Implement and maintain data quality, consistency, and security across the organization. Ensure Compliance: Make sure data systems follow legal and industry regulations (like GDPR, CCPA). Data Security: Work with security teams to protect data through encryption and other measures. Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Stay Updated: Keep up with new technologies and best practices to improve the data architecture. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science). 8+ years of experience in data architecture and data management. Experience in risk management and knowledge of risk frameworks. Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). Strong skills in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration. Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
