As part of a collaborative team within the Data Platform and Support organization, youll help ensure the availability and stability of the BOBJ Platform, fine-tune performance, troubleshoot issues, implement security controls and patching and help ensure seamless data delivery. This is a contract position expected to extend into 2027 with an organization having a history of offering long term opportunities for the right individual. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage deployments, configuration, scheduling and monitoring of various development, test and production environments Application technical support; troubleshooting, scripting, consulting Communication of Application service interruptions Manages health of applications and maintain security and integrity controls Knowledgeable in best practices of disaster recovery, performance and security of applications. Working with Vendors for technical support Manage and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, system monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting of BOBJ environments Performing BOBJ administration tasks , this includes security access maintenance and enhancements, patching, end user support, and BOBJ Universe Migrations Providing technical support to developers and end users on the full BOBJ product stack Developing and maintaining operational and process documentation Providing innovative solutions and improving standard processes in the department Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation Support testing and implementations of database upgrades, server upgrades and application upgrades Train internal users to use client software Write and maintain documentation for standard procedures and support requirements Support and leverage continuous improvement processes and efforts Other Duties as assigned Essential Requirements: 1. At least 5+ years experience of the following: - BOBJ administration including installation, patching and upgrade; BOBJ security, infrastructure design and solutions; SAP BusinessObjects best practice standards, frameworks and configurations. 2. At least 5 years experience in the following Tools: Web Intelligence; Information Design Tool and/or Universe Design Tool; 3. Experience with the following: BIP 4.2; 4.3+ (in the last 3 years); Load Balancer (F5); Apache Tomcat; SSO; SSL Certificate Administration within BOBJ 4. At least two years of experience with SQL databases 5. At least two years of experience with script generation Preferred Requirements: 6. SAP BO Certified Professional (Preferred) 7. Experience with Wiiisdom 360 Suite of products or other Business Objects Audit tools. 8. Experience with Infosol Infoburst.
