Observability Architect Location Frisco, Tx or Bothell, WA Contract The role is to establish the roadmaps, designs, and supports the implementation of Platform Ops (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations); for private cloud, and machine learning capabilities to automate and streamline operational workflows. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with collaborators to understand the whole context, develop strategies, and ensure that the delivery is scalable, reliable, and available. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with collaborators to understand the whole context, develop strategies, and ensure that the delivery is scalable, reliable, and globally available. Responsibilities: Architecture governance, principles, design standards, policies, and procedures that encourage innovation through automation & AI, whilst prioritizing security, reliability, and scalability across on-premises and cloud like Hyperscalers Highly automating and improving IT operational processes for service provisioning, configuration, and management. Develop operational data monitoring, analysis, and automated remediation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability. Invest time with other teams, including application development and infrastructure teams, to support business applications and processes in new ways. Skills Designing and implementing sophisticated enterprise-level solutions. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) through DevOps, and tools such as Crossplane, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible. Performance monitoring and observability through platforms such as ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, and Grafana. Tier 1 vendor technologies both on-premise and cloud, including Kubernetes & containers at scale. Strong motivation and drive, with the ability to operate across multiple change projects simultaneously, including those that span geographies. API integration and API design knowledge is must Cloud certification and knowledge Victoria metrics Azure ADX Telemetry knowledge needed Qualifications: Minimum 14 years of qualified experience in monitoring and Observability track. Bachelor's degree in computer science(s), information technology/security, systems engineering or relevant work experience. Good to have Professional certifications.
