The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of web development, particularly on AWS and Kubernetes platforms. As part of our team, you ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and secure delivery of digital content to our global audience.Responsibilities Akamai CDN Management:o Configure, optimize, and maintain Akamai CDN solutions to enhance content delivery performance.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Akamai services into our applications. DevOps Practices:o Implement and manage CICD pipelines for deploying applications and content.o Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.o Collaborate with software engineers to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability. Web Development:o Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and microservices.o Leverage AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway) to build scalable and resilient solutions.o Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. Performance Optimization:o Monitor CDN performance metrics and troubleshoot any issues.o Optimize cache settings, routing rules, and security configurations within Akamai. Security and Compliance:o Implement security best practices for CDN configurations.o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration and Documentation:o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and security experts.o Document system architecture, configurations, and deployment processes. Release planning and Complianceo Awareness on Software development and release policieso Aware on Audit controls and sox compliance relevant to Software developmentQualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in CDN management, DevOps, and web development. Strong proficiency in Akamai CDN configuration and administration. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) and Kubernetes. Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible. Solid understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. (1.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects.
