The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the installation, support, and maintenance of the Palo Alto suite of products. As a key member of the security infrastructure team, the Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of security infrastructure systems. This role also includes troubleshooting and supporting complex Data Center solutions, both remotely and on-site. Responsibilities: Install, configure, support, and maintain the Palo Alto Networks suite of firewall products. Design, develop, and implement secure infrastructure systems to support business needs. Manage and optimize firewall configurations to ensure network security and compliance. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of security infrastructure and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex firewall and security-related issues. Provide remote and on-site technical support for Data Center security solutions. Monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks. Generate documentation for configurations, processes, and system designs. Stay up-to-date with Palo Alto product updates, security trends, and best practices. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of network security technologies, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and data protection techniques. Experience with Palo Alto Panorama, GlobalProtect, and SSL decryption. Proficiency in configuring and managing Security Policies, NAT, SSL decryption, and VPN solutions. Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, and BGP. Experience troubleshooting and supporting complex Data Center solutions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide on-site and remote technical support. Preferred Qualifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification. Experience with SD-WAN solutions and integrations. Familiarity with cloud security and integration with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
