| Hi I hope you are doing well Title : SAP VC Solution Architect (Contract Role) Location : The candidate can be remote, but they need to work PST hours. Resources in SF Bay Area is preferred. Job Responsibilities The SAP Consultant will be responsible for the business processes definition, implementation, and configuration of VC Models within SAP VC module. The consultant will analyze complex business problems and help define the solution within the SAP VC integrating with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics and Finance. Identify gaps and provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scale new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner. Analyze and improve existing VC models and/or design and define new VC models; plan and execute unit and cycle testing in a cross-functional environment. Support business end users during integration and user acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Participate and lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues. Other Job Responsibilities Lead cross-functional project discussions including Technical team, Functional team and Business Functions as needed. Has a thorough understanding of the SAP VC functions for which application is used, interfaces with Business and IT cross functional teams to identify and resolve business systems problems and consults with various users to identify potential improvements. Specific emphasis on design and development of very complex VC models using multi-level BOM. Integrating PLM system such as Siemens Team Center with the ERP system such as SAP ECC or S/4 system. Creation of class, characteristics, values, config profiles, dependencies, pfunctions for creation of VC Models with RT KBV. Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects. Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements got the Product Development Team. Accurately translate and documents business requirements into functional specifications to solve business problems Prioritize business requirements and recommend changes to multiple business processes. Assess the risks of various solutions looking across multiple applications Clearly articulate the impact of business problems and benefits using business language Minimum Qualification Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required 10+ years SAP consulting experience required focus emphasis on SAP SD / VC used in a manufacturing environment Experience in creation of class, characteristics, values, config profiles, dependencies, pfunctions for creation of VC Models with KB RTV. Experience in integrating PLM system such as Siemens Team Center with the ERP system such as SAP ECC or S/4 system. Experience in usage of VC Models with any external configurator or CPQ system. Experience in usage of variant pricing in sales document types. Experience working on applications built on SAP WebDynpro, SAP Portal & SAP Fiori. Experience in working with technical teams such as ABAP, Basis, Portal, Security and new dimension technologies. Integration experience with SAP Variant Configuration (VC) & Order BOM. Demonstrated experience in cross-functional projects with SAP VC integrating with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics and Finance. Detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, problem solving and leadership skills Self-directed with experience in managing priorities and timelines Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management required Background in sales domain is beneficial. Knowledge and experience in project management desired. Knowledge on capabilities in SAP S/4 HANA Sales Process is desired.
