| Job Title: - 508/Accessibility Tester Client location Seattle, WA (Onsite) Interview Mode: Video Role Description :- Test websites, mobile applications, and software for accessibility compliance using assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice recognition tools). Identify accessibility barriers in alignment with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, Section 508, ADA, and other relevant accessibility standards and regulations. Provide detailed reports on accessibility issues and suggest solutions or workarounds. Participate in inclusive design reviews and provide feedback. Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure accessibility issues are resolved. Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using tools like WAVE, Axe, JAWS, NVDA, or other similar accessibility testing tools. Assist in the development of test plans, strategies, and scripts for accessibility testing. Work with individuals with disabilities to conduct user experience testing and gather feedback. Stay up-to-date with current accessibility standards, assistive technologies, and industry best practices. Experience with accessibility testing and knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2, Section 508, ADA). Proficiency in using assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver). Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they impact accessibility. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with automated accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Accessibility Insights). Attention to detail and ability to think critically to identify accessibility issues. Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.
