| From: Sachin, Quantum World Technologies Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: API QA Test Engineer Location: Warren, MI Onsite day 1 (Need Local only) Description: Skills: BDD, Python, java, API Testing, Kafka, Devops skills, Automotive domain 10-12 years of exp As a Quality Automation engineer in the team, you will be part of scrum team closely working with other members of the team following DEVOPS principles doing the following. Develop & Execute test plans and procedures that comprehend feature requirements and functionalities. Develop and implement automation suites for the backend components at the subsystem level & and component level using API / contract testing. Integrate the subsystem test suites & component test suites with existing CI / CD pipelines. Triage system level nonconformities to the appropriate offending module or system. Document all anomalies using existing documentation tools (for example JIRA/PRTS) Follow issue resolution from issue origination through verification, closure, and monitoring. Understand the complex suite of backend microservices, the workflows involved with them. High caliber, Willingness to learn their business / technology domain. In this role most of time will be spent in coming up different test suites (system integration, regression, smoke, components), automation of various tests cases, integrating them with CI / CD pipelines, validation of our application. You would be working on Java / Spring boot /Rest Assured/PYTHON/ Automation Suites /Automation Frameworks/ SonarQube / CI CD pipeline tools / ORACLE / Postgres / REST / KAFKA / PULSAR/ Microservices /Cloud Foundry/ Azure Cloud / Kibana etc. Minimum Job Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent) 6+ years of Testing experience either Manual or Automated. In-depth understanding of QA practices, standards, and testing processes. Demonstrates expertise in software quality assurance/quality control. Ability to translate Functional and Operational requirements into test cases and scenarios. Understanding of all aspects of software testing including test environment, test data, and test automation Ability to perform various levels of testing System, Functional, Integration, GUI, Regression Testing and UAT Ability to create test plan including defining, estimating, prioritizing, and coordinating testing activities. Ability to Identify Risks and communicate them. Skilled at documenting and communicating test results and defects. Basic understanding of Configuration management tools, automation build systems and continuous integration pipelines. Experience writing simple SQL queries and insert/update statements, and basic grasp of Oracle or another relational database. Ability to support production issues troubleshooting and coordination of timely and effective resolutions. Facilitation and Support of user acceptance testing. Knowledge of basic Unix commands; Unix shell scripting.
