Senior Tools Engineer Company: TCF Location: Coppell, TX Onsite (Locals) Type: 6-month contract USC and GC Only LinkedIn required C2C Pay: $40/Hr Some notes from hiring manager: Broad skill sets are best for their environment. Someone with a strong monitoring background would be ideal. They will be working with two vendors to do POC for their monitoring products so will be helping to evaluate the products and make a purchase decision. Must have excellent communication skills as they will need to collaborate and communicate with all the various teams that will be using the new monitoring system such as the architecture team, operations team and support teams, etc. Knowledge of ticket systems would be a plus they use ServiceNow and this new monitoring/alert system will need to be integrated with that eventually. Financial industry background would be especially helpful Someone who can help with the POC, implementation, integration, and operations of the monitoring system is ideal the golden candidate They will be doing synthetic monitoring so the ability to write scripts (especially with Python but any language is good) is required. Developing dashboards will be part of this job so if they havent done it, be willing to learn The attitude and experience learning on the job being self-taught, resourceful with a can-do attitude. Experience: Must have 5 + years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training with an Enterprise Monitoring Tool like Splunk, Dynatrace, Zenoss, HP SiteScope, HP BSM and modern coding languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, .Net, etc.) along with knowledge about Service Management, CMDB, DevOps, Agile, ITIL and GitLab. Must have 2+ years experience developing application dashboards utilizing a monitoring tool. Minimum 2+ years experience administering multiple monitoring systems Strong Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux Systems Experience with various modern application frameworks such as Microsoft Azure, AWS.
