DevOps Engineer Location: Goleta, CA or El Segundo, CA (Need local to Goleta or El Segundo within 50 miles of these cities; Hybrid for 2 days onsite per week) USC GC or GCEAD only Solid LinkedIn profile is must with current location mentioned on it. Must have: C++ or Python or Go MUST haves Jenkins or Kubernetes MUST have Job Description: This role is 100% technical and will join a team of 5 or 6 engineers providing infrastructure/backbone support to software teams. Must have the ability to communicate well in English - both written and oral, and the ability to work on a team. 3 non-negotiables: some software prog in modern language (C++, python, go); dev ops experience w/ jenkins, kubernetes, containers, etc; higher level experience w/ DevOps platforms/architecture. HM is looking for 90% match to the required skills, networking security - networking important, direct security experience less important (not looking for a cyber security expert); a min of 5 years but prefers 8-10 years experience; embedded software is a plus; 75% hands-on dev skills in DevOps or software dev; previous work shows success that they stayed in the role for some time.
