Role: FinOps Consultant - Location: Sunnyvale, CA JD: Skills Day-to-day Responsibilities: o What the engineer will be doing on a day to day basis Azure DevOps Operational work o % Hands-on coding responsibilities or strong technical knowledge Azure cloud migration and transformation of application to be cloud native o What specific skill if only one is required for this role Azure DevOps (1.) To provide FinOps cost optimization recommendations such as Rightsizing resources based on utilization, handling zombie assets etc. (2.) To enable cost visibility, reporting, governance using policies via CSP nativeor third-party FinOps Tools thus, generating savings. (3.) To propose reservations for Compute, Databases to save costs from native-tools recommendations. (4.) To propose best practices for Tagging, Anomaly Detection and Budgets along with setting altering mechanisms to monitor the performances (5.)
