Job Description : Jr. Payroll clerk 3+ months Healthcare in CT One day a week on site- Hartford CT Must be your own employee, cannot have any other layers besides the employer. Our CT-based client is looking for a Jr. Payroll Analyst on a contract basis! Candidates must be onsite 1 to two days a week. This is a 3+ month role. This role is responsible for performing wage, hour, tax, benefit and garnishment calculations and corrections to ensure that team members are compensated accurately. Role Responsibilities Review Time and Attendance records and correct inaccuracies. Prepare and submit all necessary files for tax deductions, benefits and garnishments. Analyze compensation related data including wages, bonuses and retroactive calculations. Prepare reconciliation reports to ensure Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and EPSI reports are in balance. Prepare tax filings as required, prepare payroll. Verify payroll accrual for hours and dollars are accurate and transmitted for month end close. Monitor Payroll mail box and voice mail to categorize and prioritize Payroll adjustments and corrections. Responsible for communicating with requesters to resolve their questions and concerns. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Human Resources or relevant field preferred and/or equivalent relevant payroll experience 3-5 years Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Associate or Payroll Coordinator. Healthcare environment experience needed Hands on experience with Kronos and Oracle HCM preferred.
