| From: Vikrama, Valiantiq [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Front-End Web Development Client: State of Texas Location; AUSTIN TX (hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Need local candidate in Texas PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Create custom widgets in Sitefinity, C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap 4/5, React Angular JS, WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Accessibility Guidelines Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, business stakeholders, and technical resources. Work with project managers and developers to manage time estimates and completion accuracy of assigned project tasks. Develop, customize, and maintain back-end components of websites using Sitefinity CMS. Implement new design components on Sitefinity CMS. Rebuild and/or update Sitefinity pages based on updated designs. Address and rectify accessibility issues to enhance user experience and inclusivity. Propose process and technical improvements to management. Create comprehensive process documentation tailored for developers and content editors to facilitate clear understanding and efficient workflow implementation. Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to business users. Optimize website speed and performance. Help front-end and back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting. Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Stay up to date on emerging technologies and properly utilize them in your work. Support Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authoritys Safety Management Systems (SMS) process by ensuring staff follows safety and security policies, considers safety in every action, and ensures safety and security concerns are reported. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Related experience may be substituted on a year for year basis up to four (4) years. Five (5) years of enterprise front-end development and interactive experience in creating web content. Expert knowledge of HTML nuances and proper semantics as well as Bootstrap 4 and 5. Experience with JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, React/Angular JS, Azure DevOps and Azure source control environment (e.g. Git). as well as CMS development on the Sitefinity platform. Highly skilled in Sitefinity development, V14 or higher (able to take full advantage of Sitefinity's out-of- the-box as well as custom extensibility options). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ability to efficiently create robust and scalable websites. Strong understanding of web development principles, including MVC architecture, Web APIs, and responsive design. Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code in C# and ASP.NET . Experience with SQL Server Strong knowledge of MV* JS frameworks. Highly skilled in Azure DevOps pipeline concepts and components Solid understanding of and best UX/UI practices. Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Accessibility Guidelines, approaches, and evaluation tools. Familiarity with browser testing and debugging. Knowledge of SEO principles. Must be self-driven to stay up to date on the trends and techniques in a changing industry. Background in page speed and rendering efficiency testing and remediation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with team members and clients Solid understanding of Agile methodology Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
