Position: Network System Administrator Location: Dallas TX Duration: 12+ months contract Must have experience in Amazon Web Service(AWS) Cloud Computing, Unix Administration Essential Skills Knowledge of basic installations, hardware modifications, mounting of devices within cabinets and completion of all required cabling.Knowledge of Unix/ Wintel operating system for understanding the command in helping the team to troubleshoot. Knowledge how to connect console cable in a network device and run hyper-terminal for providing access.Assure all equipment is operated and maintained within the manufacturers specifications and the operating guidelines of the property. Troubleshoot copper and fiber structured cabling to resolve connectivity issues.Able to work 24*7 on call, visits will be 2 days at DC weekly mandatory for few hours and rest on call based on need. Rackspace Vendors coordination, supervision and oversight of work undertaken and any other coordination required from other vendors.
