| USC Only Sr Network Engineer Washington DC Hybrid - Remote w/ 1 day a week onsite Must be local to the Washington DC Area Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in data center routing and switching . Requirements: - A minimum of 10 years experience in supporting enterprise-grade routers and switches in a large data center environment. - Expert-level knowledge of OSPF and BGP is essential for this position. - Demonstrated expertise in supporting and configuring BGP, OSPF, and STP in NXOS and IOSXE platforms. - Experience in designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting large data center networks. - Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc.) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers. - Experience with XVLAN, Wireless, and AWS networking Deliverables: The Contractor shall deliver, but not be limited to, the following: - Assist the networking team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting routing and switching issues, developing new designs, managing maintenance windows, and handling any other tasks as required. - Provide extensive expertise in BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios.
