Summary: Our client is seeking a System Engineer to oversee the phased roll-out of Microsoft Defender Application Control (WDAC) across approximately 1700 end-user machines, including laptops and desktops. This individual will serve as the primary point-of-contact for troubleshooting, reporting, and resolving issues during the deployment process. The role involves coordinating with end-users, providing technical support, and ensuring minimal disruption to users throughout the deployment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in troubleshooting issues with Microsoft Defender Application Control. Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Event Viewer, PowerShell and related diagnostic utilities. Knowledge of application packaging concepts and deployment best practices. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks while ensuring minimal impact on users.
