Position Type: Application Security Engineer II Duration: 12+ Months Location: Remote Must Have: Fortify/BlackDuck, Jenkins, Code Review, Java As a(n) Application Security Engineer II you will: Job Description: Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on information security systems Implement Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and use automation Monitor automated security code scans and provide guidance to development teams to address open issues. Work with the security analysts to perform security design/code reviews and vulnerability assessment Create application threat models and provide guidance on effective countermeasures Contribute to security policy, standards, and guidelines related to Information Security. MUST HAVE SKILLS: Hands on experience across the spectrum of cyber security tools and is comfortable working with offshore team to manage day to day security operations and security projects Good working knowledge of networking concepts, and cloud computing Excellent organization, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to communicate security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience with Jenkins or similar CICD tools Skilled in using Python EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in computer science, Cybersecurity or a similar field.
