I have following requirement, please reply me back with profile along with rate expectation SR SYSTEMS ENGINEER MIDDLEWARE LONG TERM CONTRACT PLANO, TX / KENNESAW, GA / CHANDLER, AZ HYBRID (3 DAYS/WEEK) VISA- NO CPT/H1B On W2 The Application Solutions and Engineering team is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for leading multiple projects on the Technology Infrastructure team within a complex financial organization. The middleware team is responsible for managing a distributed architecture framework hosting mission critical J2EE internet & intranet applications. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical infrastructure management and engineering, with a history of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have skills and experience troubleshooting middleware issues. Responsibilities include: Web-based application (Weblogic Server/Portal) server design and build outs for applications and services in a UNIX infrastructure. Troubleshooting complex application integration points and coordinating with virtual team members across the enterprise to deliver complex J2EE hosting solutions Manage multiple projects concurrently and be readily adaptable to change. Additionally this person is expected to be self-motivated, a strong leader, able to influence others and able to think creatively. Manage and work closely with application teams deploying new applications in the Weblogic hosting environment(s). Able to gather application configuration needs and facilitate changes with administrators and product vendor (when need be) to resolve technical configuration or application issues etc. Will be required to provide on call support and flexible working hours. Working with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on a daily basis and providing Middleware and Java support Serving as a J2EE architect and making recommendations on J2EE best practices in application development Designing Middleware infrastructure and Middleware topology design for high availability and failover capability Providing technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas Communicating with business partners at an enterprise level Interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC Executing production changes for Bank integrated and regulatory releases with precision. Required Skills Primary Skill - Python Secondary Skill - J2EE Tertiary Skill - Jboss Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and/or field experience with at least 8-10 years supporting Weblogic,jboss, Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, Apache, and similar Middleware products (app server) and web servers J2EE experience at the large scale enterprise system level Extensive scripting experience in Jython, Python, YAML and Perl Administration of Middleware using tool such as mDeliver, BladeLogic, etc. Ability to troubleshoot Middleware products using various diagnostic tools Experience with, and understanding of, peripheral systems (network, load balancing/workload management, application development, operating system), and with monitoring systems (Splunk, Introscope, Sitescope, etc.) knowledge of industry security baselines Create documentation for troubleshooting, performance, optimization, and remediation Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both business and technical management Familiarity with IT Service Management framework Interview Process: 1 Round - via Webex - 2 person panel - about 30 minutes Thanks & Regards!
