Please find the details below: Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer - PP, SD, O2C (Automotive Domain) Location: Normal, IL (Onsite) Duration: Contract Note: Automotive Background candidate only Responsibilities: .10-15 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on S/4HANA and Fiori. .Expertise in Production Planning (PP), including Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, Planned Order, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), Backflush, COGI, and Integrated Product and Process Engineering (iPPE). Design, develop, and maintain advanced ABAP programs such as Reports, REST APIs, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), and Web Dynpro applications. .Strong command of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including SAP Workflow and Fiori My Inbox integration. .Implement and manage User Exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, and enhancements using the Enhancement Framework. .Proficient in ABAP for HANA, including CDS Views, Fiori Elements, AMDP, and ABAP 7.5 syntax. .Hands-on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP) and code performance optimization within the S/4HANA environment. .Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Architecture, best practices, and HANA Data Modeling using HANA Studio. .Comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules like PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales and Distribution), R2R (Record-to-Report), OTC (Order-to-Cash), P2P (Procure-to-Pay), PL2PR (Plan to Production), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), with a focus on their integration points. Expertise in Fiori, SAP Gateway, OData services, and SAP UI5 development. .Develop and maintain OData services for Fiori apps, ensuring seamless integration with SAP backend systems for optimal performance. Hands-on experience in SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and OData services is highly desirable. .Strong experience with SAP HANA Technical Concepts, Architecture, Code Performance Rules, and ABAP Development Tools (ADT). .Utilize analysis tools such as Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit to ensure code quality. .Collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business processes into effective technical solutions. Provide technical support for troubleshooting and optimizing ABAP programs and interfaces. .Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, ensuring efficient issue resolution and optimization of code performance. .Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and industry best practices to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Preferred Skills: .Familiarity with Production Planning (PP), including BOM Management, Routing, Planned Orders, PPDS, Backflush, and COGI processes. .Experience with SAP Upgrade Projects and PP-specific enhancements. .Expertise in iPPE (Integrated Product and Process Engineering) and other production planning functionalities. .Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
