NEED INDEPENDENT OR W2 CANDIDATE Windows Server Engineer ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEK IN NEW HAVEN, CT 6+ months Video Primary responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service and technical support for on-site and remote users Troubleshoot hardware, software and PC operating system issues Identify network/applications issues Use trouble ticket system (ServiceNow) for tracking issues and problem resolution Resolve issues or ensure timely escalation to appropriate support level Windows support, application support, and manufacturing IT support Troubleshoot hardware software and PC operating issues (laptops, printers, mobile devices, etc) Troubleshoot issues with Print Servers/Printers/Cloud-based printing Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a Windows 10/11 and M365 Environment Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS products Understanding of Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms technologies Experience with Patching Desktops (preferably with automated tools like Solarwinds nAble and SCCM) Security-first mindset, participating in security remediation as necessary Familiarity with a Manufacturing environment a plus! Networking experience and understanding how it works is a plus!
