Position: Salesforce Engineer

Location: (100% REMOTE)

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

Looking for a Salesforce Engineer 5-7 years of experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with technology, sales and marketing to ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.

Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration.

Audit and improve current state CRM data with a focus on getting the most out of the system and solving business requirements without disrupting revenue generation.

Hands-on collaboration and management of third party consultants as needed to complete projects.

Field creation, mapping and integration between Salesforce and various other systems in our tech stack.

Refine and configure Salesforce roles, profiles, fields, records, sharing rules, workflows, and groups as new visbility and access needs arise.

Importing large sets of data that may need to be updated or inserted to Salesforce.

Working with large sets of data in Excel to prepare for data manipulation jobs.

Help build and maintain in-market solutions to solve business needs in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.

Efficiently and effectily provide business analysis to steamline operations when faced with a business issue.

Implement and maintain systems to assign leads to sales agents and tracking the resulting KPIs for both sales resources and mangagment of our tech systems.

Support the existing connections between Salesforce and Marketing Cloud to help streamline outbound marketing that is tracked for Sales and Marketing teams.

Maintaining the overall system health of Sales Cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards if the team needs admin assistance.

Enable our teams to track marketing metrics and trends, like conversion rates and web analytics.

Ensure that Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud are consistently providing an effective sales funnel.

Scope and plan executions for Salesforce system projects when briefed with business needs.

Monitor and make enhancements to information flowing into CRM from other business-critical systems.

Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.

Evaluating and summarizing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing important context for training on these new features and bug fixes when needed.

Document solutions, architecture and processes, including but not limited to error reports and changes to field history tables.

Help sales leadership leverage existing and new data sources to discover and execute against new growth opportunities, new products, major policy changes

Manage and prioritize time to optimize throughput and solution output

Other tasks as defined by management

Administrative & Other Responsibilities

Product testing and validation

Deployment support

Tech thought leadership and collaboration to improve use of Salesforce systems and products

Work with PMO regarding product roadmapping and project execution

Liasion with business units, and clients to streamline Lead-to-close process

Provide accurate and timely status on all work to lead engineers and team lead.

Collaborate, develop and execute on various dependent or independent projects as time permits.

Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in business, programming or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

2+ yrs of apex code development and 5 yrs of Salesforce application administration.

Proficient with SOQL, Apex, and Lightning Web Components

Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces

Strong understanding of business procress and workflow optimization

Experience in B2B and B2C sales

Proven soltuion documentation, scoping, and execuction of projects

Experience in collaboration within an Agile development envoirment

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with many different types of stakeholders

Preferred Education and/or Experience

Salesforce Advanced Admin Certification

Apex coding expertise (debugging and writing)

Experience working in JIRA or other similar tool

Data visualization knowledge (DOMO, Power BI, QuickSight, etc)

Mobile device dashboards, workflow, and KPI tracking (responsive design)
