| Job Title: Senior Java with Kotlin Experience Location: Phoenix AZ/ Newyork Experience : 10 years Client : American Express Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Java and Kotlin, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements and specifications. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, enabling seamless integration and communication between systems. Utilize the Spring Framework to implement scalable and maintainable server-side applications. Manage and optimize SQL databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage. Develop front-end components using JavaScript and React to enhance user experience and application functionality. Implement real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka and Apache Spark to handle large volumes of data. Leverage AWS cloud services for application deployment, management, and scaling, adhering to best practices. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to uphold code quality and performance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, providing timely support and enhancements. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of overall IT experience. 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java Development. 5+ years of experience with Kotlin. 7+ years of experience with the Spring Framework. 6+ years of experience with SQL databases. 5+ years of experience in JavaScript and React for building dynamic user interfaces. Strong expertise in API development and microservices architecture. 6+ years of experience with AWS (AWS Certification preferred). Proficiency in data streaming and processing using Apache Kafka and Apache Spark (5+ years). Familiarity with big data technologies, including Hadoop (4+ years). Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra (5+ years) and MongoDB (6 years). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development challenges. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
