Role: Duck Creek Policy Business Analyst Locations: Jersey City, NJ/ New York, NY (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3 Days every week. Job Description: Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. Document system requirements/user stories, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. User Story grooming and prioritization in consultation with Product owners and documenting using Agile tools like Jira. Touch base with Product Owner on a frequent basis to add new priorities and change the priority of already defined items (if required). This exercise needs understanding of business, workflow/ process and team capacity. Bridge gap between Product Owner and Duckcreek Sprint team to improve Quality of the deliverable. Property & Casualty knowledge and algorithm understanding is key for providing this support. Function as a liaison between IT and business/users and have both business and technical expertise. Participate and drive Sprint demonstrations. Attend other Agile ceremonies, as required. Coordination with other team members communication and collaboration. Support validations done by the development team. Facilitate user acceptance tests/business validation discussions and meetings. Support defect triaging and resolutions. Perform technical gap analysis and data mapping between various applications in scope of integration with Duckcreek system. Provide functional solution to Duckcreek Product Factory consumer applications business requirements. Support the defect triaging during System and User acceptance testing.
