These roles will be temporary contract positions to perform multiple Development Sprints to clear the backlog of items associated with My MTPD Text Tips and Metro Alerts for the anticipated period of six (6) months. Task Description: This procurement is for Microsoft Power Platform Developers (2) - to develop comprehensive solutions within the Power Platform to meet business requirements, encompassing PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Data verse, among other components.) Work closely and collaborate with other groups within the Digital Modernization department, including Cyber Security, PMO, and Enterprise Architecture. Interface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to My MTPD Text Tips and Metro Alerts Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the entire Power Platform toolset and an understanding of typical business workflows and security models. Knowledgeable in working with APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph and Data verse Web API, among others. Well-versed in creating and manipulating formulas using Power FX. Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects. Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions. Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review. Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applications. Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures; and Work on the development of new solutions, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards. Required skills/Level of Experience: Bachelors degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Proficiency with relevant programming languages, programming toolsets, and development in Power Platform, comprehensive understanding business workflows and security models. Knowledgeable in working with APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph and Data verse Web API, and others. Proficiency with software development and project management methodologies. Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware. Demonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical level information systems and data processing management; and Knowledge of multi-tiered applications such as web services, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, and report servers Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice to have skills: Master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
