Role Software Test Analyst Location Lansing, MI (Hybrid Onsite 2 Days/Week: Tuesday and Wednesday) Job Type C2C/W2 Responsibilities: Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test cases based on requirements, user stories, and functional design documents. Prepare test scenarios and ensure the QA environment is set up, including necessary test data. Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure accuracy in test case development. Execute test cases, track testing progress, and manage defects through the Azure DevOps tool. Agile Testing: Implement Agile testing strategies, ensuring traceability to user stories. Coordinate with product owners for test case approval and sprint sign-offs. Participate in sprint cycles and manage quality assurance artifacts and deliverables. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to share test cases and manage test results. Coordinate with UX/UI designers to raise or manage defects as required. Collaborate with the QA Specialist to handle complex project deliverables. Defect Management: Identify, track, and remediate defects, ensuring alignment with project goals. Ensure sign-offs and proper documentation at the end of each sprint. Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with QA processes and complete required SEM documents for each project. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing (manual and automation). 5+ years of experience in testing within Agile and Waterfall development environments. 5+ years of experience in writing and documenting test cases using Agile tools such as Azure DevOps. 7+ years of experience testing Java-based applications and Oracle databases. 7+ years of experience in developing Agile test strategies and plans. 5+ years of experience in translating Agile user stories into test cases and scripts. Proven ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Nice to Have Skills: 5+ years of experience writing automated test scripts. 5+ years of experience coordinating Agile automated testing with QA and development teams. 2+ years of experience coding test automation scripts in Java using tools like Selenium.
