| Job Title: Senior Payment Solutions Architect Location: Washington , DC (Remote) The Solution Architect - Senior works on multiple IT projects as a member of a project team and is responsible for the overall direction, guidance and definition of an architecture program that effectively supports Amtraks Business Strategy. They assist in facilitating the development of the future-state architecture, ensuring its effective adoption. Further, Solution Architects interface across all business areas, acting as visionaries to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects. They also conceive strategies, solutions, build consensus, and sell/execute solutions and are also involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, and implementation. Requirements: Analyze current payment systems and architectures to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. Design end-to-end payment solutions that align with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Develop architectural blueprints and technical documentation to guide the implementation of payment solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the implementation process. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to integrate third-party payment services and solutions.
