| This is only for H1 / H4 / L2 Visa Please mention Visa status while sharing resume Job Title: Grafana Engineer with Python Location: 100% Remote (St Louis, MO) Type: : Long Term Contract Job description: Client is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement Grafana-based solutions for infrastructure automation that improve developer experience, operational efficiency, and system reliability. Essential responsibilities of the position: Develop and maintain Grafana applications for infrastructure automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify `and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks. Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Contribute to the creation of a documented developer journey for Grafana API development with a focus on software infrastructure support. Participate in the Developer Experience Improvement Initiatives to enable more efficient development processes on laptops through standardization and automation. Engage in the scoping and planning of Grafana API development projects to ensure adherence to security and operational policies. Identify areas for improvement in the Grafana API developer's journey and contribute to the requirements definition Work towards the goals set by the Grafana API Development, Infrastructure working group, including the delivery of a documented developer journey and a list of improvement areas Key responsibilities Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and can function under pressure in an independent environment Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results Possesses strong communication skills -- both verbal and written and strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team Knowledge of software development processes including agile processes and test-driven development Experience with the design and development of complex, multi-tier software solutions. Key skills and experience required Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience. Understanding and knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required. Understanding and DevOps Methodologies and SOLID principles Design and Testing of Microservice Implementation. Grafana, Python, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Hibernate Some experience in Chef and Jenkins Duration Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.
