| Hi, Lead Android Developer NY (Hybrid) MOVATE Job Description We are seeking a seasoned Android Mobile App Development Lead with over 11 years of experience and expertise in Kotlin. The candidate should possess strong leadership and coordination skills to work with both onsite and offshore teams, ensuring the successful delivery of mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design, development, and deployment of Android applications using Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and backend developers) to deliver high-quality features. Ensure effective communication and alignment between the onsite team and offshore development teams. Oversee the app performance, quality, and responsiveness. Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide the team in problem resolution. Mentor and coach junior developers, maintaining high standards of code quality and best practices. Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and Android technologies. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and deployment strategies. Requirements: 11+ years of experience in Android app development, with a minimum of 5 years in a lead role. Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK. Extensive experience with app architecture patterns such as MVVM/MVP. Proven ability to coordinate and manage development efforts across onsite and offshore teams.
