Length: Contract to hire (approximately 6+ months on contract) Location: 100% remote must be sitting in EST time zone. Do not send candidates in pacific timezone. They might consider Central but EST is highly preferred over Central. This is mainly a manual tester but does need some automation exp. Do not send candidates who are too automated heavy. If their past three roles are Automation Tester, that would not be a fit. They would need to be a mix of both, or more on the manual side. Essential Skills & Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance Experience working with Finance processes and systems such as Netsuite A strong understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce and Netsuite), Digital/eCommerce, Marketing, and educational systems Experience working with business and developers at both functional and technical level Experience with test automation Experience using Github, JIRA, TestRail Experience with Selenium Experience in Agile/Kanban processes for management Experience in Netsuite and Salesforce platforms QA Engineer: The QA Engineer will be responsible for manual and automated testing. Initial testing support will be 90% manual/10% automated, with a future goal to increase our automation usage. This individual is responsible for testing Salesforce CRM, Netsuite, including any other systems supported by Spring Education Group. Experience in the education sector is highly preferred. The tester must be experienced with creating reusable (regression) test modules with tools such as TestRail. Tester will also be responsible for development and maintenance of an Automation Framework. Responsibilities: Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Test cases must be reusable. Provide timely and meaningful feedback Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Monitor debugging process results Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Expected to research and develop tools with the goal of increasing automation development quality and productivity Responsible for ensuring that defined architectural and development standards are followed by all members of the automation team Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation for projects of simple to high complexity Practices automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements Recognizes issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc.) and works with appropriate resources to address and resolve Seeks and understands the big picture/business cases behind individual requirements Mentors and trains other testers in the team Keywords: quality analyst information technology Idaho Manual Tester with CRM - Fully Remote (EST schedule) - No H1B - [email protected] |
