| Role: Network Security Engineer with Akamai Senior Engineer Location: Houston, TX (TCS - Houston) Country: United StatesRole Description: DNS, DHCP, and IPAM global solution planning, deployment, and operations. Infoblox DNS and IPAM installation, including Dynamic DNS and zone transfer setup. Integration with Akamai DNS and registrar updates. Active Directory (AD) / ESAE stack integration, including forwarding and delegation. Global Internal DNS Management: Infoblox redeployment across global environments. Serve as the master controller for DNS and manage internal DNS roots; DXC to manage delegated zones. GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing): Internal & External GSLB deployment using F5 GSLB with global availability in a single environment. Develop, update, and formalize processes for record creation, deletion, and zone updates.Key Responsibilities: DHCP scope reservation and assignment. Record creation, deletion, and updates in DNS. Manage subnetting and IP management with a deep understanding of AD domains and BIND servers. Oversee day-to-day operations of DNS and related services.Competencies & Skills Required: Network Security: Knowledge of Infoblox and Akamai tools is highly desired. Core Networking Skills: Strong experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM systems. Expertise in AD domain management and BIND server configuration.
