Job Description: Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with a background in Windows and Linux System Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multidisciplined environment. This System Administrator as they will be responsible for administering systems in Azure and AWS Cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows/Linux infrastructure in the cloud (Azure & AWS) environments. Duties include, but are not limited to, server management; storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; software and license configuration. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Providing infrastructure operations and support for existing cloud applications and migration of on prem applications to the cloud Working in both cloud (Azure & AWS) and on prem environments. Overseeing cloud operations and designing infrastructure for new workloads Continuously improving and maturing cloud services Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment. Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours. Basic Qualifications: Proven experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS (previous experience working in Azure and/or AWS cloud environments). Strong understanding of computer, network, server, storage, and database Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly document architecture designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures. Experience with Windows Server operating system administration. Experience with some of, but not limited to, the following technologies: Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, prior systems administration and networking administration experience beyond account maintenance, Windows, or Linux administration. Experience with server architectures and troubleshooting methods and be able to assist in developing solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems. Experience using servers (Windows & Linux), Splunk and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods. Previous experience working with CI/CD Pipeline, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Demonstrates strong written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical people to executive-level technical decision-makers. Passionate about technology and eager to grow skills and increase responsibilities. Azure/AWS cloud certifications.
