The consultant will be involved in the development, customization, and support of EBS Financial systems, ensuring that these projects align with the business needs and technical requirements. Responsibilities: Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for EBS Financial systems projects and customizations. Work closely with the business to develop business solutions. Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure project goals and milestones are achieved. Gather and analyze business requirements and estimate design/development work. Evaluate and determine the best options for solution architecture. Develop technical designs based on business requirements. Perform development using PL/SQL, Oracle Application Express (APEX), and Oracle ORDS. Ensure system implementations meet high-quality standards and prioritize outstanding issues. Follow PMO processes and code control standards using source control tools like SVN/GITS. Develop test strategies and collaborate with offshore teams and business users on UAT. Create functional, technical specifications, and deployment documents as per standards. Role with the group: Software Engineer Required Skills: 8-10 years of experience in Oracle EBS software development and support. Strong background in Oracle technology, including SQL, PL/SQL, APEX, and ORD web services. Experience in functional areas such as Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Projects, GL. Solid verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate ideas to business/functional users. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Desired Skills: Experience with Unix, XML, Java, and ADF.
