ob Title: Linux/Unix Engineer(Openshift Engineer) with Certified Redhat Visa: USC or GC Location: Greenwood Village, CO (Day 1 Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: They are currently using Verizon's network for their "network" and pay Verizon per gigabit of data that is used. They are looking too offload from Verizon on their own network and looking to expand in other Markets. Looking for someone that has experience with doing this. They are currently on a Rancher based environment looking to migrate to Red Hat Openshift No one on the team has training or experience with Oenshift, they are learning it on the go. Does not have Openshift environment built yet They want someone thats done it before - SME They want this role to assist with planning, designing, executing, etc This person does not need to be a 5G Engineer or familiar with 5G, but would be a nice to have. The #5G Core Tester would come in and execute Test cases, rapid fire, features, functionality, etc. on the new 5G Core Network once migrated to Red Hat Open shift. Lead Individual Contributor responsible for designing, implementing, researching, planning, administering, securing, and monitoring operating systems and container environments related to supporting and improving clients wireless engineering lab. Works with cross functional teams and advises leadership. Provides technology leadership and drives the Wireless Lab technology roadmap with stakeholders and partners. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Designs, implements, administers, monitors, enhances and troubleshoots systems in assigned areas. Interprets business requirements and designs detailed architectures based on those requirements. Mentors and guides the work of technical staff. Researches, designs and documents complex systems and related technologies in support of the wireless engineering lab. Produces required Technical documentation, and reviews and improves documentation and designs. Establishes the integrity, viability, functionality and capacity of wireless lab System and Infrastructure architectures by writing and executing detailed test plans and documenting test results. Tests and certifies wireless lab systems and related technologies for security, features, compatibility, interoperability, function and capacity. Evaluates vendors, products, and solutions without bias or predisposition to make informed recommendations; and fully documents findings. Provides Technical support and guidance to wireless lab personnel and ensures all technical standards and documentation requirements are met. Interacts with and manages tasks with members of cross-functional teams. Manages multiple projects simultaneously without supervision. Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable. Knows, understands and follows company policy.
