Job Title: Cyber Risk Analyst / Consultant Location- Oakland, CA or Rancho Cordova, CA or Remote Work Time Zone: PST (10AM to 2PM PST) Duration: 12+ months (Contract-To-Hire) Job description: Support the Vulnerability Management team in automating reporting processes and building dynamic Power BI dashboards that integrate data from various vulnerability scanning tools. These dashboards will provide real-time insights to stakeholders and must update daily using automated processes. You will work closely with the vulnerability management teams to gather requirements, create data pipelines, and ensure the dashboards provide actionable insights for the business. Qualifications Proven experience with Power BI dashboard development and automation. Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes and tools (e.g., Rapid7, Fortify, Black Duck, Aqua). Experience integrating data from APIs into Power BI or similar reporting tools. Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query. Familiarity with data automation tools and methods (e.g., Power Automate, Python, or other scripting languages). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and dashboard performance. Excellent communication skills to translate technical information into business insights. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for the vulnerability management team. Automate data extraction from multiple vulnerability scanning tools (via APIs, other automation, or manually). Integrate vulnerability data into Power BI for daily automated updates. Collaborate with the vulnerability management team to understand reporting needs and ensure dashboards are aligned with business requirements. Ensure dashboards provide real-time, actionable insights for stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard functionality and data integrity. Build purposeful, future-proof reporting (e.g., using service accounts for automation as opposed to personal accounts).
