[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] No h1b - Local to MN System Test Analyst Contract to hire Minneapolis, MN MANAGERS NOTE: Location: We do need candidates to be onsite 3x week. The team was set up in January. There are currently 3 product configuration analysts and 3 test analysts. We are growing the team, which is why there are 2 openings for each team. Overview: This is for the ALIP Product Configuration Team. Product Configuration is the calculations side of the ALIP system. We spent 2024 learning about what we are supposed to be doing. Client is doing all of the configuration currently. We are learning what we need to do for development and testing. Now we are comfortable with this, so in 2025, Client will step back and we will take over the configuration, development and testing. Experience Required: Candidates should have some life insurance and annuity product knowledge. They need to have an idea of how it works. ALIP is a plus, but it can be learned. So, the product knowledge is really most important. Candidate should have 1-2 years of experience with product knowledge, developing and testing. We are open to seeing more senior candidates, but there is no flexibility on the rate/salary. No prescreen questions to ask. But we should make sure they are comfortable working individually. They need to think through and understand the product and process in order to not just do the job, but to apply it. Need to be able to develop tools for themselves. ALIP UI is all web based. For testing, they need to be able to navigate and test policy transactions. They must have SQL experience. They also should have Excel experience to build up calculations in the system. For day to day, we use Jira. We work in an agile workflow delivery process. For configuration, we work within the UI. The focus isn't validation/testing. It is about figuring out the design, how do I fit the logic into the framework Can I share it They need to be mindful of the performance as well. So, they should have life insurance/annuity programming experience. Training: Will be paired up with a buddy here. We have lots of documentation, this is how to copy a product, execute a policy, etc... This person will work with their buddy for day-to-day questions and be hands on with them.
