| Role: Mechanical Engineer Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Mode: Contract Duration: 6+ months Job Requirements Experience with test fixture design, testing of oil and gas tools Design and develop test fixtures for downhole tools, ensuring compatibility with various testing protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, and testing) to identify testing requirements. Create detailed designs, prototypes, and testing plans for test fixtures. Conduct structural and thermal analysis to validate design performance. Develop and maintain design documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications. Ensure compliance with industry standards (API, ISO, etc.) and company regulations. Troubleshoot testing issues and optimize test fixture designs. Mentor junior engineers and technicians in test fixture design and testing. Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience of test fixture design, testing of oil and gas tools Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for design and analysis. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
