| Title: Window System Engineer Location: Folsom, NJ Duration: 9 months (possible renewal) Start: ASAP Rate: $70/hour Must be a US citizen or Green card holder. This consultant needs the below: How to administer Defender in an enterprise Must have desktop experience in building images, deploying software using Microsoft tools and good overall management of the desktop Main requirements: Experience with Microsoft Defender Application Control (not to be confused with Defender antivirus) -Architecture -Catalog Management -Management -Support Software packaging and support using Microsoft Configuration Manager -Configuration Policy Management -Application packaging -Application Management Experience: 5-7 years desktop automation engineer INTUNE experience Using event viewer for troubleshooting 1. Coordinate the phased deployment of Microsoft Defender Application Control (WDAC) across 1700+ end-user machines. 2. Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems during the roll-out. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Defender Application Control in real-time to minimize user impact. 4. Work with end-users to identify and address any compatibility or operational issues. 5. Utilize Microsoft tools such as Event Viewer and PowerShell for diagnostics, monitoring, and reporting. 6. Apply application packaging concepts to ensure smooth deployment of WDAC. 7. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address issues that arise during the roll-out process. 8. Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users throughout the deployment process Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in troubleshooting issues with Microsoft Defender Application Control. Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Event Viewer, PowerShell and related diagnostic utilities. Knowledge of application packaging concepts and deployment best practices. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks while ensuring minimal impact on users.
