Role: Performance Tester with Linux Location of work: Irvine, CA (Onsite) Duration: 6-12+ months Description: Must-haves: 10 years of experience in automation software development with an emphasis on performance testing. Proficient in creation of scalable reusable test automation and execution throughout all phases of performance test development. Solid experience in development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes including Quality Release Criteria. Proven communication and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively in close knit cross-functional teams. Must be a performance-minded team player, who is self-motivated and able to problem solve. Experience with system software design, development integration, and automation. Experience with modern tools such as: Linux OpenTelemetry ElasticSearch, Kibana InfluxDB, Telegraf Prometheus, Grafana Docker Nice-to-haves: Experience with Android development and test, with emphasis on performance aspects. Experience in designing and architectural reviews of performance automation solutions. Broad technical experience with one or more virtualization and cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS). Background in performance evaluation. Experience in In-Flight entertainment systems.
