EXCELLENT Verbal and Written CommunicationRequired. Note: Contractors will be required to work Onsite 5 days/week.There is potential for this to move to a hybrid model working 3 days onsite, 2days remote. New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) isrequesting the use of a Application Technical Specialist with specific skillsconsistent with the set of tools and products currently used by the departmentfor FY25 to work on the Video Conferencing and Scanning Initiatives. MVC hasbeen operating under tight deadlines and competing priorities. At the heart ofthis initiatives are the core IT systems that support internal businessprocesses and public-facing services, both over the counter as well as on-line. MVC has been working diligently to transition to anew architecture and foundation for multiple prioritized projects and aseasoned professional is critically needed to: - Facilitate the planning process,adhere to MVC architecture standards, and reduce the risk with overallimplementation schedule. - Facilitate planning sessions, participatein project management best practice meetings, apply methods to the project foreffective project management improvements, manage multiple advanced projectplans, provide necessary assistance with effective reporting to internal andexternal stakeholders including look ahead reports, critical reports, andvarious project plan reporting. Some of the new initiatives for which planning,solutioning and implementation planned for are as follows. 1.) Video Conferencing a. Migrating alldocuments to Filenet and service for retrieving them for MFA and BLS 2.) Middleware Consolidation a. Migrating BizTalkto Mulesoft b. Migrating DEXMLservices to Mulesoft c. Migrating GTservices to Mulesoft. 3.) HR Recruitment a. Migrating alldocuments to Filenet and service for retrieving them MVC is also looking to build a Central ScanningPortal for all units where the Unit Representatives can Scan, Index andRetrieve their Documents with a State of the Art Portal using latest industrystandards. This resource would require knowledge in architecting,designing, and working with the vendor in ensuring the system is built withadherence up to industry best practices. Candidate needs to have extensive experience inadopting and migrating existing solutions into Mulesoft without the need tochange the downstream clients.
