| Job Title : AWS Architect Location : Wilmington DE Must Have: 60% AWS 40% Java Position : W2 Job Responsibilities Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Serves as the functions go-to subject matter expert Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience Deep understanding of Cloud Technologies, and in particular Public Cloud and AWS(Terraform, EC2, EKS, LAMBDA, Aurora DB etc). Demonstrated experience in crafting well-architected designs, application development, testing, resiliency and operational stability to utilize the capabilities of cloud computing for applications Advanced knowledge in one or more software, applications, and architecture Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines. Technical expertise in Java ,Python, Terraform and proficiency in SQL . NoSQL cloud databases. Understanding of building secure solution designs including cloud experience Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture Drive domain modeling, designing, and handling of complex and scalable architectures, building container eco-systems for micro services Expertise in modernization in cloud platform from large, complex heritage ecosystem of mainframe and monoliths.
