| Hello Everyone Hope you are doing well. Title: Test Engineer Locations: Plano, TX-Locals (Hybrid) Exp: 10+ Years Duration: Long-Term JOB DESCRIPTION: Testing of an Infotainment System. Understanding of requirements and system. Perform test specifications development, test environment setup, and test execution. Conduct defect reporting, test reporting, and status communication. Support and work with remote teams. Interact with Function Owners, Domain Experts, Test Architects, and the Development teams. Usage of Automotive tools for CAN/FlexRay/Ethernet communication. Support Triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure Support Product Owners with joint test events (customer and suppliers) Attend program test events (functional testing) What You Need: 3+ years of experience in the Automotive domain, specifically in the Infotainment domain. You should have worked on infotainment features like Navigation, Voice User Interface, HMI, and connectivity. Strong experience in writing test specifications based on specifications and from user perspective, efficient and excited about test execution, and capable of setting up test environments. Experience working with JIRA and JIRA tools like Zephyr Need good communication and interpersonal skills Support defect mgmt. discussions Experience Analyzing Use Cases and Requirements Experience Creating/Executing Test Cases and creating defect tickets Experience Triaging defects created on the OEM side, assign to suppliers and track the progress Experience Building metrics and graphs for defect management Prepare the prerequisites for the upcoming testing Review Test plan, schedules, release plans, test cases Good to Have: Experience installing maps, using the GNSS simulator, and writing corner cases of Navigation testing.
