Job Title: SQL/ETL Developer Client: (SMUD) Sacramento Municipal Utility District Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote) - Locals Duration/Type: 18 months/Contract Visa: USC, GC LinkedIn required Govt./state experience required in Utility Must have: 10+ years of experience as a SQL/ETL Developer. Must be local to CA and comfortable with being onsite for 1-2 weeks for onboarding at the beginning of the project. It is expected that the contractor will be onsite at SMUD's Bradshaw location in Sacramento, CA for 1-2 weeks for on-boarding at the beginning of the project. Following that period, the contractor should plan to be onsite for important meetings, working sessions, and project milestones (up to 25% of the time). Duration: 18 months Due Date: Oct 22 Mandatory Requirements 3+ years of experience in ETL processing. Strong proficiency in writing SQL Experience with SQL query optimization Experience with Oracle and SQL Server Data modeling experience for both transactional and data warehousing environments Experience with C# Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities Technical Requirements Oracle SQL knowledge Microsoft SQL knowledge Desirable Qualifications Experience with PowerBI and SSRS Experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or data architect role.
