The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset management processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as proficiency in managing IT assets throughout their lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the back-up Asset Manager, ensuring seamless continuity in asset management operations. - Develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from procurement through end-of-life. - Provide daily operational and maintenance support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to the Asset Management module in Remedy and ServiceNow. - Conduct annual inventory audits and establish processes for consistency and accuracy in asset tracking. - Perform bulk uploads of asset data and maintain data integrity within the asset management system. - Identify discrepancies and perform audits to ensure accuracy of asset data. - Develop and maintain foundation data related to assets, ensuring all information is current and accurate. - Generate and provide asset reports for both end-users and management teams. - Manage user accounts, site information, hardware categorizations, product classifications, and support groups within the Asset Management system. - Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new features or updates meet operational needs. - Oversee the management of fixed and floating licenses for the Asset Management Module. - Create end-user documentation and develop training materials. - Conduct training sessions to educate users on asset management processes and system functionalities.
