Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator -Mid Level Indianapolis IN -Remote 6+ Months State client experience prefers We are seeking a proactive Linux Systems Administrator to support the infrastructure needs of a local government agency. The role focuses on managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, Kubernetes (K8s) administration, and maintaining the ELK stack. Some cloud infrastructure work is required as we continue migrating to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain RHEL servers. Administer Kubernetes clusters for high availability. Use the ELK stack for system monitoring and troubleshooting. Assist in cloud migration to GCP and manage hybrid infrastructure. Automate system management tasks. Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure compliance. Qualifications: 3-5 years of Linux systems administration (RHEL preferred). Experience with Kubernetes and the ELK stack. Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet). Strong troubleshooting skills. Preferred: GCP experience.
