Role: Network Engineer Location: Redlands, CA (Onsite) (Only Local Candidates in CA) Duration: Long term Experience: 10 to 14 Years JD: Bachelor's degree in relevant major such as Computer Science or Networking, telecommunications, Information systems. Minimum 5+ years experience in Network Engineering & Datacenter Networking. 5+ years Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst series switches and ISR/ASR Routers. 5+ years Hands-on experience of Installing & Configuring Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ASA, Fortinet and Sophos Firewalls. 3+ years Experience with log and monitoring aggregation tools such as Armis, Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark. Must Have Strong Experience and Understanding of CiscoAnyConnect VPN (ASA/FirePower), Site to Site VPN, Palo Alto Networks (FW/VPN). Strong understanding of Secure access solutions such as NAC/AAA and experience with Cisco ISE. Strong knowledge and Hands-on experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) as well as HA, QoS. Strong Understanding Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Cisco WiFi troubleshooting, Cisco VOIP and Multicast troubleshooting. Willingness to commute to various Remote sites to Rack and stack, install Network Equipment for IT M&A Projects, Integration, AppTracking, SecureShield and various IT initiatives. Cisco CCNP and PCNSE Certification. Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Oversee the implementation of Cisco SD WAN solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Provide technical guidance and support for Switching and Routing Cisco technologies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Evaluate project outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all project activities. Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications: Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrate extensive experience with Cisco SD WAN, Switching, and Routing Cisco technologies. Exhibit strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Display strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
